Terms and Conditions
These terms govern the use of VonD services, including design, IT, cloud, connectivity, development, billing, support, and related customer responsibilities.

Introduction
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern the use of services provided by VonD ("VonD", "we", "our", or "us"). By purchasing or using any services from VonD, the customer ("Customer", "you", or "your") agrees to comply with these terms.
VonD operates from Durban, South Africa and provides technology, design, cloud, connectivity, and development services.
1. General Terms
1.1 Services Overview
VonD provides services through the following departments:
- Design
- IT Services
- Cloud Services
- Development & Automation
- Connectivity
Specific services purchased will be defined in quotations, invoices, order forms, or service agreements.
1.2 Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and billing information
- Maintain updated contact details
- Maintain secure passwords and account access
- Use services in accordance with applicable laws
- Maintain backups of critical business data
Customers are responsible for monitoring usage of services including storage, bandwidth, and server resources where applicable.
1.3 Billing and Payments
All services operate on a pre-paid basis unless otherwise agreed.
Payment conditions:
- Invoices are issued before service renewal
- Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice
- For monthly services, payment must be received before the 1st day of the month for the upcoming billing period
- Renewal reminders may be sent approximately 5 days before renewal
Accounts unpaid after 7 days may incur a 10% late payment fee.
If invoices remain unpaid after 30 days, a second invoice may be generated.
If payment is still not received by the 1st day of the following month, services may be suspended.
Accounts unpaid after two (2) months may be permanently terminated.
VonD reserves the right to adjust pricing when necessary.
1.4 Billing Cycles
Services may be billed:
- Monthly
- Quarterly
- Annually
- Contract term
Services renew automatically unless cancelled according to the cancellation policy.
1.5 Cancellation Policy
Certain services may require one (1) full calendar month notice of cancellation unless otherwise stated in a signed contract.
Cancellation requests must be submitted through:
- The VonD Client Portal
- A support ticket sent to support@vond.co.za
Cancellation requests must include:
- Client account details
- Service being cancelled
- Requested cancellation date
Conditions:
- Cancellation requests submitted after a billing cycle begins may apply to the next billing cycle
- Services remain billable during the notice period
- Cancellation requests submitted via phone or informal messaging channels will not be accepted
1.6 Refund Policy
The following services are non-refundable:
- Monthly services
- Annual services after 10 days of activation
- Domain registrations
- Domain renewals
- Domain transfers
- SSL certificates
- Setup fees
- Transaction fees
- Software licenses
Account credits are non-refundable and may only be used within the VonD system.
1.7 Acceptable Use Policy
Customers may not use VonD services to:
- Host illegal content
- Send spam or bulk unsolicited emails
- Conduct hacking or unauthorized access attempts
- Distribute malware
- Perform phishing or fraud
- Abuse server resources
- Host pirated or copyrighted content illegally
VonD reserves the right to suspend or terminate services for violations.
1.8 Security and Abuse
Any attempt to compromise network security or other customers is prohibited.
This includes:
- password theft
- network attacks
- unauthorized access attempts
- security scanning
Accounts involved in such activities may be suspended or terminated immediately.
1.9 Backups
Customers must maintain their own backups of important data.
VonD provides complimentary backups for Shared Hosting accounts only, with a minimum backup retention period of 15 days.
These backups are provided as a convenience and are not guaranteed.
For cloud servers, VPS servers, dedicated servers, or other server environments, backups are the responsibility of the client unless a backup service has been purchased from VonD.
Backup services may be provided at additional cost depending on:
- storage size
- retention period
- backup frequency
- infrastructure requirements
VonD is not responsible for any data loss.
1.10 Limitation of Liability
VonD shall not be liable for:
- loss of profits
- loss of data
- business interruption
- indirect or consequential damages
Maximum liability shall not exceed three months of service fees paid by the customer.
1.11 Force Majeure
VonD shall not be responsible for service interruptions caused by events beyond its control including:
- power outages
- internet outages
- natural disasters
- civil unrest
- infrastructure failure
1.12 Governing Law
This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Disputes will be handled within the courts of Durban, South Africa.
2. Design Department
Design services may include:
- Web design
- Graphic design
- Corporate identity (CI)
- Branding
- Marketing materials
- Business profiles
- Website banners
- Email signatures
- Social media graphics
- Flyers and business cards
- Brand guidelines
Website builds may include:
- One-page websites
- Basic websites
- Multi-page websites
- Complex websites
- E-commerce platforms
- User dashboards and custom systems
All design work remains property of VonD until invoices are paid in full.
3. IT Services Department
IT Services may include:
- Managed IT services (MSP)
- Remote support
- On-site support
- Network infrastructure maintenance
- Antivirus solutions
- Endpoint security
- Server deployment
- Hardware supply
- Software licensing
- CCTV solutions
- Backup and disaster recovery
- IT audits and projects
VonD provides support on a best effort basis unless an SLA exists.
Emergency or after-hours support may incur additional charges.
4. Cloud Services Department
Cloud services may include:
Hosting Services
- Shared hosting
- cPanel hosting
- Linux hosting
- Windows hosting
- Domain hosting
Domain Services
- Domain registration
- Domain transfers
- Domain renewals
Hosting Add-ons
- SSL certificates
- Website security
- Spam filtering
- SEO tools
Cloud Infrastructure
- Cloud hosted servers (Linux / Windows)
- Custom servers
- Cloud security
- Fortigate cloud firewall
- Backup services
Microsoft Services
- Microsoft 365
- Microsoft 365 Business
- Microsoft 365 Enterprise
- Windows licensing
- Email security
- Email deliverability services
- Barracuda email protection
Cloud services operate on shared infrastructure and uptime cannot be guaranteed unless specified within a service level agreement.
5. Development & Automation Department
Development services may include:
- Custom software development
- Web application development
- Automation systems
- API integrations
- n8n automation solutions
- Custom workflow systems
Development work remains the intellectual property of VonD until payment is received in full.
Any work outside the defined project scope may incur additional costs.
6. Connectivity Department
Connectivity services include:
Internet Services
- Fibre internet
- Business fibre
- Home fibre
- LTE / 5G internet
Network Infrastructure
- Wi-Fi installations
- Network deployments
- VPN setup
- Network failover solutions
- Coverage assessments
VonD may resell connectivity services provided by Fibre Network Operators (FNOs).
VonD is not responsible for outages caused by upstream providers or network infrastructure outside of our control.
6.1 FTTH (Fibre to the Home)
FTTH services are residential fibre connections delivered by Fibre Network Operators.
Installation fees and service conditions are determined by the relevant FNO.
If a residential fibre service is cancelled within the first three (3) months after activation, VonD reserves the right to charge a clawback fee equal to installation or activation costs charged by the FNO.
6.2 FTTB (Fibre to the Business)
FTTB services are business-grade fibre connections provided through Fibre Network Operators.
Installation Costs
FTTB installations are quoted separately based on the requirements of the Fibre Network Operator.
Installation costs may vary depending on:
- building infrastructure
- distance to fibre infrastructure
- civil work requirements
- FNO policies
Contract Terms
FTTB services typically operate under fixed-term contracts ranging from 12 months to 60 months depending on the Fibre Network Operator.
Customers remain responsible for the service for the full contract term.
If the service is cancelled before the contract expires, the customer will remain responsible for any early termination penalties or remaining contract fees charged by the FNO.
7. Hardware and Equipment
VonD supplies hardware including:
- computers
- laptops
- networking equipment
- firewalls
- switches
- servers
- CCTV hardware
All hardware is subject to the manufacturer's warranty.
VonD does not provide additional warranties unless specified.
8. Amendments
VonD reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time.
Changes take effect once published on the VonD website.
Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
9. Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions together with quotations, service agreements, and acceptable usage policies constitute the complete agreement between VonD and the customer.
10. Service Level Expectations
VonD provides services on a best-effort basis unless a formal Service Level Agreement (SLA) is defined within a signed contract.
Scheduled maintenance may occur when necessary.
Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice where required to protect infrastructure.
Service availability may depend on third-party infrastructure including:
- data centres
- fibre network operators
- internet exchanges
- cloud providers
- power utilities
VonD cannot guarantee availability where outages occur outside of its control.
11. Support and Communication
VonD provides support through the following official channels:
- Client Portal Support System
- Email support via support@vond.co.za
All service requests, cancellations, and technical support issues must be submitted through the support ticket system.
Support requests should include:
- account or client name
- affected service
- description of the issue
- screenshots or logs where applicable
Support may be provided through:
- remote assistance
- monitoring systems
- remote desktop support
- on-site visits where required
On-site support or emergency support may incur additional charges.
12. Legal and Compliance
Customers agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using VonD services.
Customers may not use VonD services for any unlawful activity including:
- fraud
- identity theft
- unauthorized network access
- distribution of illegal content
- copyright infringement
- spam or unsolicited communications
VonD reserves the right to cooperate with law enforcement authorities where required by law.
Failure to comply with legal requirements may result in service suspension or termination.
